Privacy notice

A short, plain account of what this website collects and what happens to it.

01Scope

This notice covers the website at fairindustries.us, operated by Fair Enterprises LLC, the parent of FAIR INDUSTRIES. It explains what information the site handles and how. It does not cover other websites, including those linked from this one.

02Information you provide

If you use the briefing form, we receive the information you enter:

  • the briefing pathway you select;
  • your name, organization and work email address;
  • your message; and
  • whether you asked us to arrange a document exchange.

The form also includes two hidden spam-prevention fields: a timestamp of when the page was loaded, and a blank field that people do not see. The form does not accept file uploads. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in your email.

03How form submissions are delivered

Depending on how the site is configured, the briefing form works in one of two ways:

  • Sent by the site. Your submission is transmitted to company leadership by email, or to a form-processing endpoint, through a service provider acting on our behalf.
  • Composed in your email app. The form opens a pre-addressed message in your own email application. Nothing is sent until you send that email, and it is then handled by your email provider and ours.

The form tells you which method applies before you submit.

04Technical information

Like most websites, the site’s hosting infrastructure processes technical information needed to deliver pages and keep the service secure — such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request — which may be recorded in server logs.

To limit abuse of the briefing form, the site briefly holds the network address of recent submissions in server memory. It is not written to a database.

05Cookies, analytics and third parties

The site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies. It does not load third-party scripts, and its fonts are served from the site itself.

06How we use information

We use the information you send to:

  • respond to your inquiry and arrange briefings or document exchanges you request;
  • keep ordinary business records of our correspondence; and
  • operate and protect the website.

We do not sell the information you send, or use it for advertising.

07Sharing

We share information only with service providers that host the site or deliver email on our behalf, as needed for them to perform those services, or where the law requires it.

08Retention and your choices

Inquiries are kept in our business email and records systems. You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you sent by writing to robert@fairindustries.us.

09Sensitive information

Web forms and email are not appropriate channels for sensitive material. Please do not send classified, controlled unclassified (CUI), export-controlled or third-party proprietary information through this site or by email. If a conversation requires such material, we will agree an appropriate method with you first.

10Audience

This site is intended for professional audiences and is not directed to children.

11Changes and contact

We will update this notice if our practices change, and revise the date above. Questions about privacy can be sent to robert@fairindustries.us.
